4.1.2. Turning the power on/off

Power up the machine
1. Confirm that the red handle of the main disconnect switch found within the
cabinet is in the ON position (refer to Figure 4-2). If it is in the Off position,
as described in
to see if anyone is working on the machine before attempting to power up.

2. Press the Power button on the front of the UPS. The host computer should
start with the UPS. If not, press the power button on the front of the host
computer.
3. Log in to Windows at the operator station using the touchscreen monitor.
To power down the machine
1. Finish the job, and log out or simply close the host software.
2. Shut down the host computer.
3. Press the Power button on the UPS.
4. Turn the red main disconnect switch handle to the Off position.
