7. Insert a padlock into one of the holes in the hasp. Each person working on
the machine must have their own lock, and that lock must have their name
on it, or an identifying tag that cannot be easily removed or damaged, as
shown in Figure 2-21. The key must be kept in the possession of that
person.

8. Make sure that:
a. The interlock LED is on to indicate interlock is open (see Figure 2-22).
b. The door will not close.
