the 6 poles holder (pos. 3, fig. D).
PART TO BE WELDED
The part to be welded must always be
connected to earth in order to reduce
electromagnetic emission. Much atten-
tion must be afforded so that the earth
connection of the part to be welded does
not increase the risk of accident to the
user or the risk of damage to other elec-
tric equipment.
When it is necessary to connect the part
to be welded to earth, you should make
a direct connection between the part
and the earth shaft. In those countries in
which such a connection is not allowed,
connect the part to be welded to earth
using suitable capacitors, in compliance
with the national regulations.

SOFTWARE VERSION DISPLAY
MATRIX 250 HF is equipped with a dig-
ital control with software pre-set in the
factory on board. This software is sub-
ject to being continuously evolved and
improved. The software is identified by a
specific number visualized on the dis-
play as follows:
1) Press and keep press-
ing the SET key
2) Start up the welder by turning the
main switch to position I
3) The type of software
on board (e.g. b.01)
appears on the display
for a few seconds

ELECTRODE WELDING (MMA)
1) Start up the welder by turning the
main switch to position I
2) Press the "weld process" button and
set on position:
• HOT START (0 ÷ 100): this supplies a
current peak which facilitates trigger-
ing the arc and the formation of the
ideal crater
• ELECTRODE for basic
electrode welding with
automatic "arc force"
and "hot start" devices
3) The following weld

by pressing the SET
