4.12.4 CAMERAS WITH MONITOR KIT (TO BE ASSEMBLED

This kit should be used with the front lights kit.
It is recommended to facilitate the visual during transport
by road.

4.13 ROLLER

The machine has a rear roller.Internally this can be adju-
sted at 3 different positions (fi g.32, fi g.33, fi g.34).
- If it's fi xed through the holes (A) the machine is in the
lower position.
- If it's fi xed through the holes (B), the machine is in the
medium position.
- If it's fi xed through the holes (C), the machine is in the
upper position.
ATTENTION
In case of change of the roller adjustment, side skids
must also change their position , in order to main-
tan always a position 15 mm higher than the roller .

4.14 IN WORK

Instructions for use in the fi eld
This section contains instructions about how to use the
machine for work in complete safety.
- Before actually using the machine, make sure that it oper-
ates correctly by allowing the rotor to idle for a few minutes.
- Always make sure that there are no bystanders within the
operating range of the machine whilst it is running.
- Disengage the PTO before lifting the machine. Do not
operate it when the machine is raised before getting off
the tractor.
- Comply with the safety distances when working near built-
up areas or roads (fi g.35): 5 meters each side, 10 meters
at the rear.

4.15 HOW TO WORK

Use in the fi eld
Hitch the machine to the tractor correctly and proceed in
the following way;
- Using the power lift controls, lower the machine until the
rear roller rests on the ground and the tools are near to
the ground without touching it.
- Engage the PTO and gradually accelerate the tractor en-
gine until the PTO is spinning at the required speed (540
or 1000 rpm).
It is highly inadvisable to exceed this rate as the ma-
chine has been sized to provide its utmost effi ciency
at these speeds.
- Engage the gear and begin to work.
- Adjust the work height with the power lift controls if neces-
sary. Remember that the cutting tools (knives or hammers)
must not touch the ground (fi g.36).
- Modify the speed of the tractor if necessary (see table of
recommended speeds).
- Adjust the position of the roller to raise or lower the cutting
height from the ground (min. height 3 cm).
