Extraction hood

CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Steam is generated through the build
up of heat within the device when
cooking dishes, and can cause scalding
when coming into contact with the skin.
This steam is discharged from the cook-
ing chamber through the extraction
hood. Hot air can also come out under
the cooking chamber door.
Make sure that you do not come into
contact with the hot steam coming
out of the extraction hood during op-
eration.
Make sure that, when opening the
door, you do not come into contact
with the hot steam rising out of the
cooking compartment.
The door handle may also be hot af-
ter a long period of cooking.
Operating modes

Microwave mode

The 'microwave' mode without additional
functions, recognised by the
in the display, is well suited for the prepara-
tion of:
– stews, soups, sauces
– meat without crusts
– steamed fish
– vegetables
– side dishes (rice, boiled potatoes, some
pasta)
– hot drinks
– defrosting small portions

Microwave power levels

The microwave has 5 power levels.
Power level Applications
Quick cooking / Warm-up. e.g.
P100
for soups, casseroles, canned
850 W
food, hot beverages, vegeta-
bles, fish etc.
Longer cooking times for com-
P 80
pact dishes such as roasts,
680 W
meatloaf or plate dishes. In-
cluding for delicate dishes
such as cheese sauces or
pound cake. When using this
setting, sauces do not boil
over and dishes cook evenly,
without the edges turning hard
or the dish overflowing.
More compact dishes which

require a long cooking time

when using the oven, e.g.
beef dishes.
Cook rice, pasta and dump-
