Note: The ideal distance between the end of the lance and the workpiece is 0,25"–0,5" (1–1.5
cm).
• Turn sand valve (1) on by pressing it to the left (Fig. 9).
Note: Make sure the air intake (2) is not covered by your hand. Restricted air flow will cause the
sand blasting action to be ineffective.
• At this point, sand will begin to flow into the lance and the sand blasting process will begin.
Note: After finishing sand blasting, be sure to turn the sand valve off so as to stop the sand from
flowing.
Using the sand blasting cabinet

The sand blasting cabinet is used for sand blasting larger objects. It is also used for
sandblasting smaller objects that need to be held and turned during the sand blasting process.
The sand blasting cabinet is used in a similar way to the hand piece. The following instructions
outline the differences.
Apply the protective film to the sand blasting cabinet:
• Turn the sand blasting cabinet upside down.
Note: Place a towel on the surface in order to protect the sand blasting cabinet.
• Remove the backing paper from one of the large round pieces of protective film.
Note: Do not touch the protected surface of the protective film.
• Carefully place the protected surface of the protective film (1) on the INSIDE of the viewing
window (2).

Attach the vacuum cleaner wand (1) to the connector (2) at the rear of the sand blasting cabinet
with a gentle push and twist motion.
Note: Do not push the wand in too far as this could break the connector.
Attach the tweezers to the handle

• Slide the plastic cover (1) off one of the arms of the tweezers (2).
• Press the bare tweezer arm into the hole in the end of the handle (3).

• Clamp the small piece that is to be sand blasted (1) into the tweezers (2).
• Remove the plug from the left tweezer port (3).
