Checking Diaphragm Failure Sensor

• To check the diaphragm failure sensor, unscrew it from the liquid end.
• Check that electrical continuity is intact.
• Press a blunt, insulated pin ∆ 2 – 3 mm (no sharp edges) into the channel of the diaphragm failure sensor.
• Check whether electrical continuity disappears.
• Release the pin.
• Check that there is electrical continuity.
• If everything is OK, screw the diaphragm failure sensor with a new seal 1 back into the liquid end.
