Operation and Control
6.1. Safety
CAUTION
Do not reach into the operating range of the printer during the printing pro-
cess. Risk of injury from moving parts.
CAUTION
The machine contains hot and rotating components. Components and print-
ed objects can be hot after the printing process. Risk of burns!
In case of burns consult a doctor immediately!
The device may only be operated when fully assembled. If this is not the case, the
safety of personnel and machinery cannot be guaranteed and the operational
license shall be invalidated.
Only print on a free print bed. Printing on objects is not permitted and can result
in damages to the machine as well as fire hazards!
6.2. Operating the BigRep ONE

Preparation

Ensure trouble free operation.
›
Check if the nozzle diameter in both hotends is correct. If you are using a
new filament diameter, install a hotend with an appropriate nozzle.

Clean nozzles if necessary.

Clean the print bed surface
Turning the Machine On

Check if the emergency stop button (P) is unlocked.
›
Make sure that both extruders are connected to their respective electrical
connectors (h).
›
Turn on the main switch (O).
›
Press the reset button (T).
›
Wait for the User Interface to open

Make sure that the printer is free of parts and not accessible to
unauthorized persons before starting the printing process.
