Please note
If the BigRep logo at the front lights up, this means that the extruder is connect-
ed to the printer.
The nozzles (o) are firm components of the hotends and may not be exchanged
separately.
Disassembling the extruder beyond the steps described in this instruction ren-
ders the warranty/guarantee null and void.

Replacing the Extruder
Safety Instructions
Never loosen the electrical connectors (h) while the machine is powered.
Also never turn on power if the electrical connectors are not connected to
the extruder.
The electrical connectors (h) must be connected to the extruder whenever
the main switch (O) is set to ON!
Preparation
Move the extruder to a position that allows for easy removal, if necessary use the
interface.
Remove any filament remains from the extruder.
Allow the extruder to cool down.
Removing the Extruder
1. Set the main switch (O) on the control cabinet at the back
of the machine to Off.
2. Remove the two electrical connectors (h) from the back
of the extruder: turn the inner ring (marked red in Fig. 7-5)
counterclockwise to loosen the connector from the ex-
truder.
3. Loosen the knob for the extruder attachment screw (f) by
turning it counterclockwise. Firmly hold the extruder in
your hand while doing so.
4. Pull the extruder off the guide rail.
