5.4 Filling the tank

1. Only fuels that are dispensed at public filling sta-
tions may be filled (max. ethanol content 15 %).
Important!
Risk of explosion.
Ban on fire, naked flames
and smoking.
2. Pay attention to the horizontal alignment and
ensure the tank is adequately secured!
3. Create equipotential bonding (earthing) between
the tank and transport vehicle or ground for non
conductive surfaces.
4. Install ventilation pipe b.
5. Open seal and door of the pump cabinet.
6. Screw cap f onto filling connection.
The container is filled with a fixed filling con-
nection. The limiting value transmitter j must
be connected. The limiting value transmitter is
factory-set to a 95 % filling.
7. Check the level inside the tank by unscrewing
the dipstick cap and pulling out the dipstick h.
8. Screw the cap of the filling opening and dipstick
back on tightly.
9. Contamination caused by the filling process
must be removed immediately with a dry cloth.
10. Close seal and door of the pump cabinet.

5.5 Filling

5.5.1 General

• Pay attention to the horizontal alignment and that
the tank is adequately secured!
• Create equipotential bonding (earthing) between
the tank and transport vehicle or ground for non
conductive surfaces.

5.5.2 Filling with hand pump

1. Open seal and door of the pump cabinet a.
2. Open the delivery line ball valve g.
3. Remove hose n with outlet manifold m from the
pump cabinet and insert the outlet manifold into
the tank/container to be filled.
4. Move lever of hand pump l up and down and
perform the filling operation.

Important!
Operation without liquid is only permitted
for brief periods of time.
Note: Ventilation is performed by the installed
ventilation pipe b.
Important!
Risk of explosion.
Ensure sufficient ventilation in the area
of the tank during the filling operation.
After filling:
5. Remove the outlet manifold m from the
tank/container and allow to stop dripping.
6. Roll up the hose and hang the outlet manifold
in the holder in the pump cabinet.
7. Close the delivery line ball valve g.
8. Close seal and door of the pump cabinet.
