Under no circumstances must the engine be started without the operator seated on the tractor.
10. Do not operate tractor or attachments with loose, damaged or missing components.
7.4 FITTING THE CUTTING UNIT TO THE MACHINE_____________________________
Front Cutting Units
1.
With the lift arms (A) in the lower position align
cutting unit mounting bracket (B) with shaft fitted with
spacer (C).
2.
Fit spacer (D) and locking collar E to shaft and
secure with screw and washer (F).
Rear cutting unit
1.
Release the swing out arm and move out to a
convenient position.
2.
Fit the cutting unit in the same sequence as for the
front cutting units.
3.
Move swing out arm back to working position and
lock in position.
Fitting the hydraulic motor
1.
it is important not to contaminate the motor shaft or
internal splines of the cutting cylinder. If for any
reason they are contaminated, they must be cleaned
by degreasing. Liberally lubricate the motor and
cylinder splines with Shell Malleus JB1 grease
(Part no. MBE3927) before assembling.

Connect hydraulic motor to cutting unit bearing
housing. Secure to studs using nuts and washers
