8. REPLACE THE SLIDE VALVE (FIG. 4)
1. Place the valve (n) on the waste water tank hole and swivel it to position it properly.
2. Tighten it clockwise. Its tab will be positioned and "latch" in the tank notch.
3. Fasten the valve (n) to the tank firmly with screw (m).
4. Replace the handle (k) and attach it solidly with screw (l).

Campingaz ® sanitary products were developed to work best in your Campingaz ® Portable Toilet and in other sanitation systems. Campingaz ®
does not accept any responsibility for any sort of damages when sanitary products of any other brand are used.
Instablue ® Standard 2.5 L: Developed for use in the waste tank. It hinders odour build-up in the waste (bottom) tank and decomposes feces.
Instablue ® Extra 1 L: A concentrated formula of the Instablue ® Standard.
InstaECO™ 1 L: A concentrated, eco-friendly sanitary liquid.
Instasoft ® 1 KG Sanitary Powder: Powder type sanitary additive for the waste tank, ecologically compatible with sewage treatment plants. 'Blue
Angel' certified.
Instapink™ 1 L: Powerful, biodegradable cleaner for use in the fresh water (top) tank or directly in the bowl. It cleans and deodorizes the toilet.
It also prevents build-up of dirt marks and scale in the bowl.
Euro Soft ® Toilet Tissue: 4 rolls (182 sheets of 2-ply soft toilet tissue) of toilet paper designed for chemical toilets. Made using water-soluble,
wadded cellulose.

12. FREQUENT QUESTIONS
The Campingaz ® Portable Toilet comes with an antimicrobial treatment on the seat and in the bowl. Do I still need to clean these parts?
Yes, you should still clean these parts using a mild, non-abrasive bathroom cleaner for the seat and Instapink™ for the bowl. The antimicrobial
treatment does not prevent these parts from getting dirty, it prevents that bacterium, mould or mildew can build up on the product.
How long does the antimicrobial protection last?
The antimicrobial protection lasts for the lifetime of the product as it is incorporated into the material that the toilet seat and the toilet bowl are
made of. Hence it cannot be removed or disappear.
Why put sanitary liquid in the waste water tank?
The sanitary liquid has the ability to decompose the feces so that you are able to easily empty the waste water tank. All toilets present the ideal
conditions for bad smells to develop. When closed, the mechanical parts described as above act as a barrier blocking the smell, which may be
released when the flush is used and air escapes, or it could seep through the tank vents.
Which brand of sanitary products should I buy?
Campingaz ® sanitary products have been rigorously tested by an independent laboratory and acknowledged to be exceptionally effective as
regards deodorizing. They also contain biodegradable detergents that break down fat and feces and help you keep waste water tanks and pipes
®
clean. Campingaz sanitary products are also compatible with residential septic tanks and municipal sewers.
Should I use granules rather than liquid?
We recommend using Campingaz ® sanitary products and cannot comment on competitor products. From a pure technical aspect, granules and liquid
deliver similar deodorizing effectiveness while granules need to be stored in perfectly dry conditions to make them avoid reacting with the humidity in the air.
What amount of sanitary liquid should I use and how do I put it in the tank?
The table below provides a brief overview, but you must remember that it is just an indication. Very high temperatures, deferred drainage or
very high capacity waste water tanks could change the amount of sanitary liquid required. To achieve optimum deodorizing, the waste water
tank should also be cleaned in depth and de-scaled at least once or twice per season, depending on use. Consumers should follow the dosage
instructions on the sanitary liquid bottles. Dosage instructions vary heavily depending on the chemical type and brand you buy. For example:
• Using Instablue ® Standard, you need 200 ml for a 20 L waste tank.
• Using Instablue ® Extra, you need 100 ml for a 20 L waste tank.
• Using Instasoft ® , you need 100 g of powder for a 20 L waste tank.
