5.11.6 Setting of single burst: Press the key of Single and select "single". The single burst signal can be
output. Each pressing can output a settled series of pulse waveform.
5.11.7 Selecting of triggering source: Press the key of Source and select "triggering source". Press the
key of < or > , or rotate the knob to light inversely the "interior" or "exterior" so as to select interior triggering
or exterior triggering. The exterior signal is input from exterior input 1.
5.11.8 Example: For example, to burst output the signal with the frequency of 1kHz and the amplitude of 2V.
Each group has 5 waveforms and the interval time is 5ms. The triggering source is interior. Trigger according
to the following order.
Press the key of Burst and select "burst"
Press the key of Freq and select "frequency". Press the keys of 1 and kHz
Press the key of Amptd and select "amplitude". Press the keys of 2 and V
Press the key of Cycles and select "number". Press the keys of 5 and Hz
Press the key of Time and select "time". Press the keys of 5 and ms
Press the key of More to turn to the next page of the third-class menu.
Press the key of Source and select "triggering source". Press the key of < or > , or rotate the
knob to select "interior".
5.12. Function of Keying
In digital communication and the system of remote control and remote measurement, the transmitting of
digital signal usually use FSK or PSK, and the frequency or the phase of carrier wave is modulated by
coding. The original digital signal is reverted via modulator in the receiver. Press the key of Keying and
select "key modulation". Press the key of < or >, or rotate the knob to inversely light the secondary menu to-
and-fro so that the corresponding modulation signal of FSK, PSK, ASK or OSK will be output.
5.12.1 Output of FSK: Selecting "2FSK" or "4FSK" in the secondary menu, the "FSK" will work. Press the
key of Freq One and select "frequency 1"to settle the frequency 1. Press the key of Freq Two and select
"frequency 2"to settle the frequency 2. Press the key of Freq Three and select "frequency 3"to settle the
frequency 3. Press the key of Freq Four and select "frequency 4"to settle the frequency 4. Press the key of
Amptd and select "amplitude" to settle the amplitude of output signal. Press the key of Time and select "time"
to settle the interval time of the two adjacent frequencies. Press the key of Wave to settle the waveform of
the output signal. Press the key of Source and select "triggering source". Press the key of < or > , or rotate
the knob to light inversely the "interior" or "exterior" so as to select interior triggering or exterior triggering. For
the function of "2FSK", there is no selection of frequency 3 and frequency 4. When selecting "4FSK" and
"exterior triggering", the triggering signals must be simultaneously existed in exterior triggering
input 1 and exterior triggering input 2 so as to carry out the function of 4FSK.
5.12.2 Output of PSK: Selecting "2PSK" or "4PSK" in the secondary menu, the "PSK" will work. Press the
key of Freq and select "frequency" to settle the frequency of output signal. Press the key of Amptd and select
"amplitude" to settle the amplitude of output signal. Press the key of Phase One and select "phase 1"to settle
the phase 1. Press the key of Phase Twoand select "phase 2"to settle the phase 2. Press the key of Phase
Three and select "phase 3"to settle the phase 3. Press the key of Phase Four and select "phase 4"to settle
the phase 4. Press the key of Time and select "time" to settle the interval time of the two phases. Press the
key of Wave to settle the waveform of the output signal. Press the key of Source and select "triggering
source". Press the key of < or > , or rotate the knob to light inversely the "INT" or "EXT" so as to select
interior triggering or exterior triggering. For the function of "2PSK", there is no selection of phase 3 and
phase 4. When selecting "4PSK" and "exterior triggering", the triggering signals must be
simultaneously existed in exterior triggering input 1 and exterior triggering input 2 so as to carry out
the function of 4PSK.
5.12.3 Observation of PSK: As the phase of PSK signal changes constantly, it is not easy to synchronize in
the analog oscilloscope. The stable graph cannot be observed. If set the frequency of channel B to be the
same value as that of channel A in PSK, taking the signal of channel A as the signal of synchronization
trigger in the bi-trace oscilloscope, the stable waveform of PSK signal cannot be observed.
5.12.4 Output of ASK: Select "2OSK" or "2ASK" in the secondary menu to start "2OSK" or "2ASK". Pressing
the key of Freq, the frequency value of output signal can be set. Pressing the key of Amptd Two, the
amplitude 2 can be set. Pressing the key of Time and selecting "time", the interval time of two amplitudes
