7. Enlarging the detection field with
extension units

7.1 Motion detector extension unit

The detection field of a main detector unit can be enlarged
with extension units.
For this purpose, a motion detector attachment 'Komfort' is
combined, for instance, with a motion detector extension insert
and connected to the main detector unit.
Attention:
Motion detector extension units are not suited for the direct
switching of loads. They merely transmit signals independent
of brightness to the main unit.
The brightness threshold, the mode of operation and the
OFF-delay are preset in the main unit and evaluated only by
the latter.
The mode selector switch and the brightness and OFF-delay
controls of a motion detector attachment 'Komfort' plugged
into the extension insert are without function.
