4.9 SIDE TRANSMISSION

Transmission of the motive power to the rotor is carried out
by belt with adjustable pulley.
Periodically, and in case of malfunction or slipping, check
the tension of the transmission belts as follows:
- Remove the bolts that fi x the protective casing (A fi g.23).
Open the casing by pulling it outwards.
- Loosen the bolts that fi x the overdrive to the structure (B Fig.
fi g.24-fi g.25 BRAVA - B
- Loosen the belts and replace them or work on the two ad-
juster screws (C fi g.24-fi g.25) in order to correctly tighten
the belts.
- 1 cm tolerated elongation with a 5 kg force applied (fi g.26).
- Check the pulley alignment (fi g.26) once the belts have
been tightened.
- Tighten all slackened bolts.
- Remount the casing and fi x it in place with the previously
removed bolts (fi g.23).
4.10 REPLACING THE
BELTS
Comply with all the instructions given in section «SIDE
TRANSMISSION» when replacing the belts.
Worn belts become stretched. To correctly distribute the
forces, they must therefore always be replaced together.
ATTENTION
When regulating the belt tension, pay particular atten-
tion to the level state of the pulleys.
Press on the middle part of the belt between the two pul-
leys with a 5 Kg force.
Each belt should give 1 cm (fi g.26).
In this respect we recommend placing an adequately
long metallic ruler on the edges of the two pulleys (see
broken line fi g.26).
The ruler should touch all four borders of the pulleys.

4.11 FIXED MODEL

The machine has a fi xed 3rd point centered on its widest part.
On models BRAVA 140-160-180-200,the third point hitch can
be shifted in side position (fi g.27).
