The position controller is largely maintenance-free. The position
controllers are fitted with sieves in the pneumatic connections to protect
them against coarse particles of dirt. If the pneumatic power supply
contains particles of dirt, the sieves can clog up and impair the function
of the position controller. In this case the sieves can be cleaned as
follows:

Removal
1. Switch off the pneumatic power supply and remove the lines.
2. Unscrew the cover.
3. Remove the three screws of the pneumatic connecting rail.
4. Remove the sieves and O-rings behind the connecting rail.
5. Clean the sieves (e.g. with compressed air).
Installation
6. First place the sieves in the recesses of the plastic housing and then
place the O-rings on the sieves.
7. Align the pneumatic connection rail flush with the two pegs and
screw on with the three self-tapping screws.
Important:
Make sure that the same thread is used. To do this, turn the screws
anticlockwise until you feel them grip the thread. Only then should
you tighten the screws.
8. Mount the cover and screw tight.
9. Reconnect the tubes and switch on the pneumatic power supply.
