NOTE
The battery pack is supplied partially charged .
Before first use, charge the battery pack in
the charger for at least 1 hour . This guarantees
full battery power . You can charge the lithium-
ion battery at any time without shortening
its service life . Interrupting the charging
process does not damage the batterybattery
pack .
If the battery pack overheats during opera-
tion, charging is not possible . Allow it to cool
down first .
Never charge the battery pack
temperature is below 10°C or above 40°C .

Fitting/changing the saw blade

WARNING!
Wear protective gloves! There is a risk of
injury from the sharp cutting teeth .
Always remove the battery pack before car-
rying out any work on the appliance .
Remove the blade guard
Turn the quick-release chuck

Push the required saw blade into the quick-
release chuck

Replace the blade guard

Fitting the rip fence

The rip fence
can be fitted on the left or right of
the appliance .
Undo both of the clamping screws on the inser-
tion openings

Push the rip fence

Retighten the two locking screws .

Connecting the sawdust extractor

Push the reducer
until it is firmly in place .
Attach an approved dust and sawdust extractor
to the reducer
or directly to the extraction
nozzle
.

Fitting the splinter guard

The splinter guard
can prevent the surface from
tearing up when sawing wood . The splinter guard
can only be used with certain sawblade types
and only at a cutting angle of 0° .
Press the splinter guard
from below (arrow pointing upwards) .
The ▲ marking on the splinter guard
towards the front of the appliance (see also fig . 1) .
