8 Troubleshooting

If a fault cannot be resolved by means of the actions described here, please refer to
Weidmüller Service.

 Stop switch does not stop.

Start switch fault
Start switch not free.
Motor fault
 Motor not running or motor jammed.
Servicing message
 Piece quantity for servicing reached.
Drum position incorrect.
Setting faults
 Stripping grade and die size do not
match.
Machine in start position.
Check the power cable and the mains
connections.
Check fuses.
Switch the machine off.
Start the machine in inching mode
(see section 8.7).
Move forwards or backwards.
Remove the belt.
Check for further damage.
Empty the waste container
(see section 7.4).
Check the seating of the stripping blade,
then correct or replace blade
(see section 8.3).
Recommended action
Fault disappears automatically
for the next cycle.
