Troubleshooting

Fault
Flash is formed on the
connection fittings.
The connection is not
pressed hard enough /
the cable can be de-
tached from the con-
nector after process-
ing.
The crimping insert
cannot be moved.
The crimping insert is
difficult to adjust with
the locking pin pushed
in.

• A cross sectional area has
been set too small.
• An unsuitable cable lug or
connector is being used.
• None of the above reasons

• Tool is dirty.
• Tool is insufficiently
