Troubleshooting

Disturbance
The tool doesn't build up any
pressure.
The tool doesn't build up any
pressure. The crimpings are
insufficient.
The dies fall out of the collet.
The tool head cannot be closed
fully after inserting the dies.
The tool head cannot be
rotated.
The dies stopped during the
process of crimping or move for-
and backwards.
The tool doesn't build up any
pressure.

Recommended action
• The grip is in return position (see
process of crimping).
• Send the tool to the Weidmüller
service department for inspection.
• One unlocking knob stucks.
• The piston hasn't moved back
completely. Turn the grip into the
return position (see process of
crimping).
• The tool is not depressurized. Turn
the grip into the return position (see
process of crimping).
• Make pump movements with the
pump lever until the pressure
interruption is activate several times.
Move the grip into return position.
Repeat this process several times till
the right function is assured
• If after this process no correctly
function is noticeable send the tool to
the Weidmüller service department
for inspection
• Send the tool to the Weidmüller
service department for inspection
