Inserting wire-end ferrules
►
Set up the wire-end ferrule role (1) so that
clockwise unrolling is ensured.
►
Turn the lock (2) on the front flap (1) to
open it.

The transport bolt (Figure 3.3, 2) in the
transport unit must be fully underneath.
See also the sticker on the transport unit.
The transport bolt is pressed downwards by
a spring.
If it is not fully down:

Check if the transport bolt is blocked, and
remove the block if necessary.

Push the wire-end ferrule belt into the
transport unit just until the lowest sheath
latches in.
►
Check for firm fitting by pulling the wire-end
ferrule belt carefully.
►
Close the front flap (2) using the front flap

lock (3).
►
Roll up the loose wire-end ferrule belt.

Turn the lock (2) on the front flap (1) to
open it.
►
Swing the front flap (2) to the side.
►
Press the transport bolt (Figure 3.3, 2) fully
upwards, and pull the wire-end ferrule belt
out of the transport unit.

There must be no sheaths protruding
downwards.
