GENERAL INFORMATION

Axio Observer materials microscopes have been designed, produced and tested in compliance with
DIN EN 61010-1 (IEC 61010-1) "Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control,
and laboratory use", meet the requirements of the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EC and are marked with the
mark.
Axio Observer models 3 materials, 5 materials and 7 materials for material applications meet the
requirements of the European directives 2006/95/EC, 2014/35/EC "Low Voltage Directives" and
2004/108/EC, 2014/30/EC "EMC directives".
These Safety Instructions contain all information and warnings to be observed by the operator.
The devices shall be disposed of in accordance with the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EC.
