Menu options
The following settings can be defined in the Handset Settings menu:
Ringer Melody
Select the melody which should ring for
internal and external calls.
Ringer Volume
Select the volume required for the ringing
melody.
Handset Name
Enter the name which should appear in the
display when the handset is in Standby
mode.
Call Groups
You can assign different melodies to various
call groups. In this way you know what type
of call is coming in; e.g. friends, business
partners, etc. The names of the call groups
can be changed.
Key Beeps On/Off
Select whether an acoustic signal should be
issued each time a key is pressed.
Auto Talk On/Off
Incoming calls can be taken automatically
when the handset is removed from the base
station. If the function is deactivated, calls
can only be taken by pressing the ‡
button.
Display Contrast
Select the contrast setting for the display.
Select Base
If the handset is registered on several base
stations, select the base required.
Language
Select the language required.
