Menu options

After selecting an entry in the phone book, the following options are available
after pressing the Option button:
New Entry Create a new entry with phone number and
name.
Show Number
The name and phone number of the selected
entry are displayed.

Delete Entry

The selected entry is deleted from the phone
book.

Edit Entry

The name or phone number of an entry can
be modified as necessary.
Set Call Group
Assign an entry to a call group identified by
having been allocated a specific ringing tone.
Assigning ringing tones: Refer to Chapter 8.
Copy Entry The selected entry can be copied to a
different handset.
Note: The Copy Entry function is only available for DECT handsets
which are registered on the same base station. Problems can arise when
using handsets from different manufacturers. In such cases, please refer to
the operating manual enclosed with the external handset.
Copy Directory All the entries in the phone book can be
copied to another handset.
The phone book in the target handset is deleted completely and replaced by
that transferred.
Note: The Copy Directory function is only available for DECT handsets
which are registered on the same base station. Problems can arise when
using handsets from different manufacturers. In such cases, please refer to
the operating manual enclosed with the external handset.
Delete All All entries in the phone book are cleared.

Information on the phone book

Always enter the area access code with the phone numbers so that

the telephone can also assign incoming local calls to a phone book
entry.
