Menu options

After having written an SMS text message or selected one provided, the
following options are available after pressing the Option button:
Send To Send the SMS message to the required phone
number.
Save
Save the SMS message in Drafts".
Use Template
Use text provided in Templates".
Delete
Delete the selected SMS message.

Writing and sending SMS text messages

Note: It is not possible to send SMS messages from a private branch exchange.

Reading SMS text messages

Using templates

Templates contain frequently used passages of text. Templates can be inserted when writing text messages. The four templates can also be edited or deleted
and then created anew. After having inserted a template, the menu automatically skips back the text being written. You can then complete and send the text.
9.7

Inbox", Drafts", Outbox"

The Inbox" contains the SMS text messages received. The Drafts" directory can contain up to five SMS messages. The drafts can be sent later. The
Outbox" contains the last five SMS messages sent.
Note: When all the memory locations are full, the oldest entry is deleted from the respective directory when a new SMS text message is received.
9.8

SMS alert

An acoustic signal indicates an SMS text message has been received. The signal can be deactivated, if necessary.
