Push down the left upper lever to activate the brush
rotation.
Push down the right upper lever to move forwards
or pull up the right lower lever to move backwards.
The Power Sweeper is equipped with a dead man's
handle, which means that when you release the le-
vers, the brush and machine stop.
In case of accidents you should release the levers as
quickly as possible and stop the engine.
The brush can be swung 20 degrees to either side.
Press the steering lever; turn the brush to the desired
angle, release the steering lever and the catch will
fall correctly into place. (Fig. 7)
Idle speed
Set throttle control lever to its "SLOW" position to
reduce stress on the engine when working is not
being performed. Lowering the engine speed to idle
the engine will help extend the life of the engine, as
well as conserve fuel and reduce the noise level of
the machine.
Stopping engine
To stop the engine in an emergency, simply turn the
engine switch to the OFF position. Under normal
conditions, use the following procedure.
1. Move the throttle lever to the SLOW position.
2. Let engine idle for one or two minutes.
3. Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
4. Turn the fuel valve lever to the OFF position.
m Do not move chock lever to the CLOSE posi-
tion to stop engine. Backfire or engine damage
may occur.
Maintenance
A proper maintenance and lubrication will help the
machine in a perfect working condition.
Preventive maintenance
Turn off engine and disengage all command levers.
Engine must be cool. Disconnect the spark plug cap
from the spark plug.
Inspect the general condition of the unit. Check for
loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving
parts, cracked or broken parts, and any other condi-
tion that may affect its safe operation.
Remove all debris and other materials that may have
accumulated to the brush. Clean after each use.
Then use a premium quality lightweight machine oil
to lubricate all moving parts.
m Never use a "pressure washer" to clean your
unit. Water can penetrate tight areas of the ma-
chine and its transmission case and cause dam-
age to spindles, gears, bearings, or the engine.
The use of pressure washers will result in short-
ened life and reduce serviceability.

Adjusting Height of gauge wheels and brush,
Fig. 8-9
Once the brush gets worn it is necessary to adjust
the height of the brush .i.e. how close it is to the sur-
face to sweep. This adjustment takes place by ad-
justment of gauge wheels. The brush has two adjust-
able gauge wheels. The vertical adjustment of the
gauge wheels is done by the placement of a series
of plastic rings above or below the mounting tube.
The suggested adjustment for the gauge wheels is
the point at which the brush sweeps 5cm or 10cm of
surface area when the machine is parked. The num-
ber of top and lower plastic rings is to be the same
for both sides.
Dismount the gauge wheels and remove one plastic
ring from the bottom (No.1).Mount the wheels again
(No.2). This lift up the gauge wheels and the brush
will come closer to the surface. Finally, mount the
plastic ring, sleeve and locking ring (No.3).
Adjusting levers
As levers get worn, it could have a wider opening,
being so uneasy to use. This means that it is neces-
sary to adjust the cables, set levers on their original
positions and tighten up.
Lubrication
The gearbox is pre-lubricated and sealed at the fac-
tory.
Check oil level every 50 hours of working. Remove
the plug and check, with machine horizontal, oil
reaches the two notches. If necessary, add the oil.
Use portable tool SAE80-W90/GL4.
Engine Oil
Check the oil level before each use. Remove the plug
and check for horizontal machine that the oil level
is between the two marks. If necessary, add to oil.
Engine oil change
The oil must every 50 hours and replaced with the
engine still warm. This can possibly run a short time
the engine. Then allow the oil to drain into a contain-
er appropriate video by the Öleinfüllöffnungsdeckel
and the drain plug is removed. May take a suitable
hose or tube to help. After the oil has completely
drained, replace the filler cap and fill with fresh oil.
Recommended engine oil
SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 (depending on appli-
cation temperature).
Replace Oil-Bath (Fig. 13)
Clean the filter every 50 hours.
1. Remove the wing nut (1), the air cleaner cap (2)
and cover (3).
2. Remove the air filter (4) from the cover (3), wash
the cover (3) and filter (4) in warm, soapy water,
rinse them with clear water and dry all thoroughly.
