Open the electrolyte bottle and screw on

Press excess air out of the bottle.

Pour in the electrolyte, preferably free of

bubbles.
Place the electrolyte bottle on the dia‐
phragm cap and slowly press the elec‐
trolyte in a single stream from the elec‐
trolyte bottle, at the same time evenly
pulling back the electrolyte bottle.
The cap is completely full if the

electrolyte can be seen at the
bottom thread.
Place the electrode shaft vertically onto

the filled diaphragm cap.
Do not close the vent hole underneath

the hose seal with your fingers.
When screwing it shut, allow excess
electrolyte to escape unchecked through
the vent hole underneath the hose seal.

Turn the diaphragm cap by hand as far
as far as the stop so that no gap can be
seen between the diaphragm cap and
the electrode shaft.
Wipe up any escaped electrolyte with a
soft paper towel or similar.
Thoroughly rinse the nozzle under run‐
ning water to make sure that no electro‐
lyte adheres to it.
