2.1 Connecting the Delta Control 4 f
to the Transformer
The Delta Control 4 f required the trans-
former only as a power supply. Therefore,
only the yellow and brown feeder wires
from the Delta Control 4 f are to be
connected with the terminal clips of the
same colors on the back of the trans-
former. No other connections are neces-
sary between the Delta Control 4 f and
the transformer.

Step 1:
Strip about 4 mm or 1/16" of insulation
from the ends of the yellow and brown
feeder wires.
Step 2:
Twist the wire strands.
Step 3:
Check to make sure that the power cord
for the transformer is disconnected from
the wall outlet.

Step 4:
Press the yellow terminal clip in on the
back of the transformer. Insert the bare
wire end for the yellow feeder wire into
the opening on the terminal clip. The
wire will be automatically held in place in
the terminal clip after you have released
the clip.

Important: The feeder wire must not be
pushed so far into the hole on the termi-
nal clip that only insulation is in contact
with the clip, as this will interrupt the
electrical connection.
Step 5:
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the brown
feeder wire and the brown terminal clip.
