The effectiveness of the filtration of the ap-
pliance can be tested as specified in test
procedure EN 60 335–2–69 AA.22.201.2.
This test must be conducted at least once a
year or even more frequently if this is re-
quired by national regulations. If the test re-
sult is negative, the test must be repeated
using a new H filter cartridge.
No outside help is required for carrying
–
out basic maintenance and cleaning.
The appliance surface and the inside of
–
the container should be cleaned regu-
larly using a damp cloth.
Danger
Risk due to dust hazardous to health. Al-
ways use disposal clothing and P2 or high-
er breath-safe masks while carrying out
maintenance tasks (such as changing fil-
ters).
Cleaning the filter
Switch off the appliance using the On/
Off switch.
Tilt the fastener for filter dedusting to-
wards the side.
Move forcefully the handle for filter de-
dusting in an upward and downward di-
rection.
Place the fastener for filter dedusting in
a vertical position.
If this cleaning does not bring about any im-
provement, then remove the filter and wash
it or replace it (see chapter "Replacing the
filter").
Changing/ replacing filter
Switch off the appliance using the ON/
OFF switch and separate it from the
mains.
At the lower end, loosen and pull out the
hose to the suction turbine.

Tilt the fastener for filter dedusting to-
wards the side.
Unscrew the handle for filter cleaning.
Remove the spring.
Unscrew the nut below the spring (you
will need a spanner with width 27 mm).
Open locks.
Remove the lid of the filter chamber.
