10. Maniement
Tenez compte de tous les avertissement concernant la sécurité et les indications relati-
ves au maniement et à la mise en service contenus dans ce mode d'emploo.
Bien que ces indications soient souvent parcourues rapidement, elles représentent la
base d'une utilisation réussie de votre modèle réduit.
• Ce produit n'est pas approprié aux enfants âgés de moins de 14 ans.
• Il faut impérativement veiller à ce que l'appareil ne soit pas mouillé. Ne touchez pas le chargeur à
brancher les mains mouillées!
Après avoir transféré l'appareil d'une pièce froide à une pièce chaude (par ex. lors du transport),
de l'eau de condensation pourrait se former. Laissez donc le produit éteint prendre la température
ambiante avant de le mettre en service. Suivant les cas, ceci peut prendre plusieurs heures.
Il y a danger de mort par électrocution !
• Même si le modèle réduit apparaît, au premier abord, tout petit, le pouvoir d'accélération de la
voiture et la grande vitesse atteinte représente un danger de blessures au cas où la voiture cognerait
une personne (ou un animal).
Les arêtes vives et les pièces en rotation représentent également un danger important.
Pour cette raison, conduisez votre modèle réduit avec précaution et de manière responsable. Ceci
s'applique, en particulier, aux pilotes non expérimentés.
Conduire la voiture dans des pièces à l'intérieur pourrait endommager meubles et autres éléments
d'installation.
• Ne conduisez le modèle réduit jamais en direction de personnes ou d'animaux, ne faites pas la
chasse d'animaux avec la voiture.
Les bruits émis par la voiture ou ses mouvements pourraient rendre les animaux agressifs ou leur
faire peur.
• Lorsque vous tenez la voiture en main (par ex. pour la mettre en marche / l'arrêter, ou pour régler
le compensateur), veillez à ne pas toucher les roues ou l'entraînement. Danger de blessures!
• Evitez les conditions défavorables suivantes au lieu de la mise en service ou lors du transport :
-
l'humidité ou un taux d'hygrométrie trop élevé
-
des températures extrêmes (chaleur et froid extrêmes)
-
l'exposition directe aux rayons du soleil
-
de la poussière ou des gaz, vapeurs ou solutions inflammables
-
les fortes vibrations
-
les champs électromagnétiques puissants, par ex. près de machines ou de haut-parleurs

E Trim regulator for steering limit: It limits the steering deflection. Depending on the setting, the
turning circle at full deflection of the turning wheel (H) changes.
F Servo reverse switch for forward/reverse drive: This reverses the response of the vehicle to the
movement of the lever (K).
Correct setting: Move lever (K) in the direction of the handle = vehicle drives forwards
G Servo reverse switch for steering: The response of the vehicle to steering movements per rotating
wheel (H) is reversed.
Correct setting: Turn rotating wheel (H) towards the right in clockwise direction = vehicle drives
right.
H Rotating wheel for steering: Just as with a real car, turning right means that the vehicle will make
a right turn. This behaviour can be reversed via the servo reverse switch (G).

Telescopic antenna: It needs to be pulled out all the way before driving the vehicle, otherwise the
range is only very low. At delivery the telescopic antenna is included separately, it has to be screwed
on first.

Three LEDs for display of battery or rechargeable battery state: The fewer LEDs light up, the less
energy is available for the transmitter.
If only one LED lights up (or none), exchange the inserted batteries (or rechargeable battery) for
new ones.
K Finger lever for forward/reverse drive: With this you can move the vehicle forward or reverse
(throttle/break or reverse drive).
Pulling the lever in the direction of the handle is for forward drive (if necessary set correctly with
the servo reverse switch (F)).
To break, the lever is moved into the other direction as far as it will go.
To drive reverse, the lever is to be moved in the direction of the front axle. If you applied the brakes
before or drove forward, the lever has to be left in the center position for about one second first (let
go of lever, vehicle stationary, set trim regulator (C) correctly) before the vehicle is reversing.
This is for the brake function, see chapter 9. i.
L Battery/rechargeable battery compartment: This is where you insert the batteries (or recharge-
able batteries) necessary for operation.
When inserting the batteries pay attention to the correct polarity (note sticker in the battery/re-
chargeable battery compartment and the writing on the battery/rechargeable batteries).
The transmitter crystals of the remote control are located on the back, it is as easily ex-
changeable as that of the vehicle (only for suitable 27MHz crystals). The transmitter
crystal is labeled "TX" ("T" = "Transmit"), the receiver crystal "RX" ("R" = "Receive").
The orientation when inserting the crystal is irrelevant.
