Eliminating minor faults yourself

Before you call customer service:
Please check whether you can eliminate the fault yourself based on the following information.
Customer service will charge you for advice, even if the appliance is still under guarantee!
Fault
Interior light does not
function.
Floor of the refrigerator
compartment is wet.
The refrigerating unit is

Possible cause
The bulb is defective.
Light switch is sticking (A) .
The condensation outlet is
blocked.
Appliance door opened frequently.

been covered.

A lot of food was placed in the
freezer.

been covered.
Appliance has been switched off.
Power failure; the fuse has been
switched off; the mains plug has
not been inserted properly.
Remedial action
Replace bulb (B)
1. Pull out the mains plug or disconnect the fuse.
2. Remove bulb cover towards the rear.
3. Change the bulb 3 Change the b lb
(replacement bulb, 220 240 V a.c.,
E14 lampholder, see defective bulb for wattage).
Check whether it can be moved.
Clean the condensation channel and the outlet
(see Cleaning the appliance)
Do not open the door unnecessarily.
Remove obstacles.
Do not open the door unnecessarily.
Switch on Super cooling before placing food in the
freezer.
Remove obstacles.
Press the On/Off button 2a.
Check whether the power is on, check the fuses.
