• If moisture gets into the battery compartment, dry with a cloth.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy and taken to special waste collection point.
• Do not throw batteries into a fire as they may explode or leak.
Preparation
Included Batteries are only intended to use for demonstration at retail.
Insertion of batteries should be done by an adult as follows:
1. Set the switch on the battery compartment to "OFF".
2. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
3. Insert the 3 x 1.5V AA (LR6) batteries. Please check if the polarity is correct.
4. Screw the cover of the battery compartment back on again.
5. Set the switch on the battery compartment to "ON".
Function
The BABY born® Interactive Cabriolet only operates properly when the ON/OFF/Try Me switch is switched to the ON position.
The packaging includes 2 sticker sheets for decorating and prettifying your interactive BABY born product. The stickers can
be removed.
Important
Before you can play the interactive feature, please push any button on the dashboard or place your BABY born® doll on the
seat in the cabriolet.
Interaction with BABY born® Interactive
Please note that the following functions will only work with the new BABY born® interactive doll, which has to have the
"Interactive –Logo" on the packaging.
All explanations are front view oriented.
Interactive functions:
When the doll arrives
• from the front, you can hear the horn sound and see the blinking lights of the cabriolet.
• from the right side, you hear the cabriolet's starting engine sound.
• from the left side, you hear BABY born's® favourite cabriolet song.
Please note: If the doll is placed inside the Cabriolet, it may happen that you might trigger the left or right sound. (starting
engine sound and BABY born's® favourite cabriolet song)
Manual action:
• place the doll on the seat inside the cabriolet, you can hear the cabriolet driving sound accompanied by the horn sound
and blinking lights.
• push the steering wheel, you can hear the horn sound and see the blinking lights of the cabriolet.
• push the button at the left side of the dashboard, you can hear the engine starting sound and the idling sound of the
cabriolet. (Please note it will switch OFF by itself after a while, so you can restart by pressing again.)
• push the switch on the right side of the dashboard, you can hear the cabriolet driving sound, accompanied by the horn
sound and blinking lights.
Standby:
After 2 minutes without playing with your BABY born® Interactive cabriolet it will switch to Standby mode. To restart BABY
born® Interactive cabriolet push any button on the dashboard or place your BABY born® doll on the seat in the cabriolet.
Try me:
Push the steering wheel for a short demonstration of different functions of the cabriolet.
The Try me mode operates properly when the ON/OFF/Try Me switch is switched to the Try me position.

Cleaning
The BABY born® Interactive accessory can be cleaned with a damp (not wet) cloth. Please ensure that no moisture enters the
electronics or battery compartment.

Disposal according to WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive)
All products marked with a crossed out wheeled bin cannot be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste. Their collection must
be done separately. Return and collection systems in Europe should be organized by collection and recycling organizations.
WEEE-products can be disposed of free of charge at the appropriate collection points. The reason for this is to protect the
environment and human health due to the potential effects of the presence of hazardous substances in electrical and
