The content, such as the languages, subtitles or additional material available on the
DVD vary from DVD to DVD. Please observe the list of content at the back of the DVD-
cover.
Every DVD has a regional code. The regional code for Europe is 2. If the regional code
of the DVD inserted in the DVD-player does not correspond with the one of the DVD-
player it cannot be played (if the regional code of a DVD is 0 it can be played in every
DVD-player).
20. Tips for Handling DVDs/CDs
• Do not touch the data carrier but at the edges. By doing so you avoid finger prints
and the soiling on the surface.
• Do not touch your DVD/CD but with clean hands.
• If a DVD/CD nevertheless needs to be cleaned use a soft, fluff-free cloth and move
from the middle to the outer part. Avoid circular movements when cleaning. Do not
use any solvents.
• If this is not sufficient use a customary DVD/CD-cleansing agent (no record
cleanser) and observe the instructions for use.
• Do not write on your DVDs/CDs and do not attach adhesive labels or similar.
• Keep your DVDs/CDs after being played in appropriate DVD-/CD-covers.
• Avoid direct sunlight, heat or moisture where storing your DVDs/CDs.
• Do not bend your DVD/CD,
• Never insert more than one DVD/CD in the running carriage at a time, do not close
the running carriage if the DVD/CD is not positioned correctly in the tray.
