Mettez ici sur "PAL" si ce n'est pas déjà fait.
• ASPECT
Les réglages suivants sont possibles:
-"4:3":
Réglage idéal pour un téléviseur ordinaire de format 4:3. Les bords noirs
apparaissent plus ou moins épais suivant les DVD.
-"4:3PS": Sur un téléviseur ordinaire, l'image est agrandie, les bords noirs disparais-
sent en partie mais un morceau de l'image est coupé de chaque côté à
droite et à gauche.
-"16:9":
Au cas où vous possèderiez un téléviseur 16:9, choisissez cette option.
Suivant les DVDs utilisés, il y a en général commutation automatique entre "4:3" et
"4:3PS".
c) Réglages audio
• ANALOG
Deux réglages sont possibles:
"Analog 5.1CH": Le signal audio 5.1 contenu sur le DVD est transformé en un signal
audio analogue par le décodeur intégré au lecteur DVD (devant à
gauche, devant à droite, Surround derrière à gauche, Surround
derrière à droite, Center, Subwoofer).
Ces 6 signaux sont transmis à par ex. un ampli avec entrée ana-
logue 5.1 au moyen des 6 prises Cynch qui se trouvent au dos du
lecteur DVD.
Prenez en compte que, pour ce mode de reproduction, seuls les
signaux "devant à gauche" et "devant à droite" sont mis à disposi-
tion à la sortie casque se trouvant sur le devant de l'appareil.
Utilisez plutôt la sortie casque de votre ampli ou de votre télévi-
seur.
"Analog 2CH":
Au cas où vous ne disposeriez que d'un ampli simple (sans entrée
analogue 5.1 ou sans entrée numérique 5.1), choisissez cette
option.
Les 6 signaux audio du sound 5.1 sont alors convertis en un signal
audio stéréo normal. Ce signal stéréo est disponible à partir des
deux prises "FRONT" au dos du lecteur DVD.

x) Key "DIGEST" (28) of the remote control
VCDs in the standard "VCD2.0" or SVCDs (not DVDs!) offer the display of all tracks on
the SVCD. By pressing the corresponding number shown on the screen the selected
track is played.
y) Key "PBC" (27) of the remote control
By pressing the key "PBC" once the current state is shown on the screen ("PBC ON"
or "PBC OFF").
Pressing the key repeatedly the setting is modified.
VCDs display the VCD-menu, when PBC is in the position "ON" (provided that in the
VCD a menu is included) the symbol "PBC" is displayed.
When PBC is in the position "OFF" all tracks on the VCD are automatically played in
the given order.
z) Key "GUI" (1) of the remote control
By pressing the key "GUI" a graphical menu is faded in, see following chapter.
12. Graphical Menu
a) Playing DVDs
The DVD-function includes the option of an additional graphical operating surface for
the most important functions. This operating surface is selected by pressing the key
"GUI" (1) of the remote control.
With the direction keys " ", " ", " " and " " you may operate this surface.
Calling the titles (on most DVDs, however, there is only one
title).
Select the title with the direction keys " " and " " and con-
firm with "ENTER" or enter the number of the title with the
numeral keys (0-9) and confirm with "ENTER".
Calling a chapter
Select the chapter with the direction keys " " and " " and
confirm with "ENTER" or enter the number of the chapter with
the numeral keys (0-9), then press "ENTER".
