Data logger function (LOG)
The IR-365RF is equipped with a data logger function. This function can be used to
save 20 measured values whilst measuring temperature, and these can then be
called up at a later time. The data logger function is only available for IR measured
values.
Saving temperatures:
Press the MODE key (3) until the function display (19) shows „LOG" (data logger) and
a memory slot (1-20). Use both the arrow keys (2/8) to select the memory slot in
which you wish to save data. If there is a temperature value already stored in the
memory slot, it is shown in the secondary display (20). If there is no saved value, „- -
- -" is displayed.
To save a temperature value in the selected memory slot, press the Laser/Back-
light/SET key during the temperature measuring process (key for temperature mea-
suring (7) pressed). The temperature value measured when the Laser/Backlight/SET
key (6) is pressed is stored. The saved temperature value is shown in the secondary
display (20). Values can also be saved when performing continual measurement.
Press the Laser/Backlight/SET key (6) to overwrite the memory slot with the current
measured temperature value.
Reading from the memory:
Press the MODE key (3) with the measuring device switched off until the function dis-
play (19) shows „LOG". The corresponding saved temperature value is shown in the
secondary display (20). You can call up the memory slots 1 - 20 using the arrow keys
(2/8).
Deleting the memory:
This function can be used to delete the entire memory (1-20) in a single process. Indi-
vidual memory slots cannot be deleted and can only be overwritten.
Press the MODE key (3) with the measuring device switched off until the function dis-
play (19) shows „LOG". Press and hold the temperature measurement key (7). Select
memory slot „0" using the arrow key „down" (8). Press the Laser/Backlight/SET key (6)
until you hear a beep. Release the temperature measurement key (7). The memory has
now been deleted.

Radio transmission of measured values to a computer

The IR-365RF is equipped with a 433 MHz radio transmission system for transferring
measured values to a computer. The measured values can thus be transferred to a
computer with a USB interface up to 10 m away and then saved and processed
using the software enclosed in the scope of delivery. This way, you can make long-
term records of temperatures in a simple manner.
- Press the arrow key „down" (8) in MAX/MIN/DIF or AVG mode to activate the data
transfer. „USB" appears in the display.
