Afin de garantir un fonctionnement sûr de l'appareil, vous devez impérativement res-
pecter les consignes de sécurité, les avertissements ainsi que le chapitre « Utilisa-
tion conforme ».
Avant toute utilisation de l'appareil, respectez impérativement les consignes sui-
vantes :
- Evitez de faire fonctionner l'appareil à proximité d'appareils de soudage élec-
triques, de chauffages par induction et d'autres champs électromagnétiques.
- Après de brusques changements de température, il convient d'adapter l'appareil à
la nouvelle température ambiante env. 30 minutes avant son utilisation afin de sta-
biliser le capteur infrarouge.
- N'exposez pas l'appareil à des températures élevées durant une période prolongée.
Evitez les environnements poussiéreux et humides. Après utilisation, rangez l'appa-
reil dans le coffret de rangement afin d'éviter que des impuretés ne se déposent sur
la lentille.
Les appareils de mesure et les accessoires ne sont pas des jouets, ne les laissez pas
à la portée des enfants.
Dans les installations industrielles, il conviendra d'observer les consignes de préven-
tion des accidents relatives aux installations et au matériel électriques édictés par les
syndicats professionnels.

Avertissement concernant le laser !
Ne dirigez jamais le rayon laser directement ou indirectement vers les
yeux via des surfaces réfléchissantes. Le rayonnement laser peut occa-
sionner des dommages oculaires irréparables. En cas de mesures à pro-
ximité de personnes, il convient de désactiver le rayon laser.

- Now connect the radio receiver to a USB interface on your computer (computer
must be started).
- Plug the radio transmitter on the IR-365RF so that it clicks into place.
- Connect the plug-in power supply unit to a mains socket and connect the output
plug of the plug-in power supply unit to the 12 V/DC input (30) on the radio trans-
mitter. The radio transmission can be powered without the plug-in power supply
unit but uses a lot of battery capacity. It is therefore advisable, particularly for long-
term measurements, to use a plug-in power supply unit.
- Press the „ON" key (26) on the radio receiver.
- Start the software (included in the scope of delivery) on your computer.
- As soon as the temperature measurement key (7) is pressed, the measured data is
transferred remotely to your computer.
To disconnect the radio transmitter from the IR-365RF, you must open
the battery compartment of the IR-365RF. When the battery compart-
ment is open, the radio transmitter can be disconnected easily from the
IR-365RF. Never attempt to disconnect the radio transmitter from the
IR-365RF without opening the battery compartment. This will
destroy either the radio transmitter of the IR-365RF.
For long-term measurements, you must set the Lock switch to the „ON"
position (10) for continual measuring before activating the radio transmis-
sion.
The furthest possible range for the radio transmission is up to 10 m.
However, if you have problems with the radio transmission, follow the
following points.
The radio transmission works in the 433 MHz range which is also used by other
devices. This may restrict operation and the range.
The range stated of up to 10 m is the free-field range, i.e. the range at sight contact
between the outdoor sensor and the base station. In practical operation, however,
there are walls and ceilings of rooms etc. between the transmitter and the receiver
which will reduce the range.
Further causes for reduced range or reception disturbances are:
- High frequency disturbances of all types
- Conductive metals which are located in the proximity of the devices or within the
range of transmission, e.g. radiators, metal insulation glass windows, reinforced
concrete floors etc.
- Interference from other electrical devices, e.g., cordless phone, mobile telephone,
electric motors etc.
Under unfavourable circumstances, there is the possibility that this product will inter-
fere with other electronic devices. If this is the case, alter the location of the device
which being subjected to or is causing the disturbance so that the disturbance is
eliminated.
