Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.

reach of children.

Connect appliance only to an AC
power supply with voltage corre-
sponding to the voltage on the
rating plate.

Do not operate this appliance with
an external timer or remote control
system.

Never immerse the appliance or
the power cord in water or other
liquids.

This appliance is intended for
domestic and similar use such as:
ƒ staff kitchen areas in shops, offi-
ces and other working environ-
ments;
ƒ agricultural enterprises;
ƒ by clients in hotels, motels and
other accommodation facilities;
ƒ bed and breakfast accommoda-
tions and holiday homes.
10. Do not clean the appliance or
power cord in a dishwasher.
11. With the exception of the water
pan, the electric grill should never
come into contact with water or
other liquids. In case this ever
happens, all parts must be com-
pletely dry before operating the
appliance again.
12. Never touch the appliance or
power cord with wet hands.
13. For safety reasons, never place the
appliance on hot surfaces, a metal
tray or a wet surface. Do not place
the appliance or power cord near
open flames during operation.
14. For safety reasons, the appliance
may be used indoors only as a
table grill. The appliance may be
used as a free-standing grill only
in a protected area out of doors.
15. Always use the electric grill on a
level, uncluttered surface.
16. If you use the appliance as a tab-
letop grill, make sure that the
power cord does not hang over the
edge of the countertop or table,
since this can cause accidents,
for example if small children pull
on the cord.
17. The power cord should never run
underneath the appliance or come
into contact with hot parts of the
appliance, since this could cause
it to become damaged.
18. If you use an extension cord, make
sure that it is intact and suitable
for the power draw of the appli-
ance; otherwise, there is a possi-
bility of overheating.
19. If you use a cable reel as an exten-
sion cord, the power cord must be
completely unwound to prevent
the possibility of overheating.
20. Use the electric grill only if the
water pan is filled with water,
since otherwise the bottom of the
grill will overheat.
21. Do not place the electric grill
directly next to a wall or near flam-
mable materials, such as curtains,
during use.
22. Never use charcoal or other flam-
mable fuels.
23. In order to avoid overheating, this
appliance shall not be covered by
any solid or flexible material such
as an aluminum tray, aluminum
foil or trays made of other heat
resistant material. The use of such
items or materials on the grille
would impair the safety of your
product and could lead to serious
damage.
24. Do not touch the grill and the grill
grate as long as they are still hot -
danger of burns!
25. Do not use the appliance with
accessories of other manufactur-
ers or brands, in order to prevent
damage.
26. Unplug the appliance from the
power supply after use and prior
to cleaning. Never leave the
appliance unattended when it is
plugged in to the power supply.
27. Clean the appliance after every
use.
