g) Switching on
Switch on the speed controller by moving the slider to-
wards the speed controller („ON").
Then wait for a few seconds (leave the throttle/brake lever
on the transmitter in the neutral position; do not move it).
Now check the drive and steering functions of the vehicle.
For programming the speed controller, please observe
chapter 10. b).
If the vehicle drive starts although the throttle/brake on the transmitter is in the neutral position, then adjust
the trim on the transmitter until the motor stops.
If the trimming path is insufficient, the neutral position must be programmed, see chapter 10. a).
Important!
If you use two LiPo batteries to operate the vehicle, check the basic settings of the speed controller for whe-
ther undervoltage protection is activated (usually 3.0 V/cell). With the undervoltage recognition deactivated,
the LiPo batteries will otherwise suffer deep discharge and be destroyed.
If you use NiMH drive batteries for operation, you should switch off the undervoltage recognition.
The LED at the speed controller goes out in the neutral position or is lit in red when driving forward and backwards.
The LED lights up green when driving forwards and at full throttle.

h) Attaching and Fastening the Car Body

Push the aerial tube from the bottom of the body through the respective opening. Now put the car body on the holders
in the correct alignment and fasten them with the 4 holding brackets removed at the start.

i) Controlling the Vehicle

Operate the throttle/braking lever for the drive function at the transmitter very cautiously and do not drive too fast at
the beginning until you get used to the car's reactions. Do not make any quick and jerky movements with the operating
elements of the remote control.
Never point the transmitter aerial directly onto the vehicle. It will strongly decrease the range. The maximum range will
be achieved when the aerial of the transmitter and vehicle are both vertical and in parallel to each other.
If the vehicle tends to pull towards the left or the right, set the steering trim on the transmitter accordingly.
When switching between forward and reverse gears, the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter must be put in the
neutral position briefly (neutral position = let go of lever, do not move it). If the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter is
moved from forward to reverse directly, the brake function of the drive is activated (vehicle will NOT reverse).
When the drive batteries are flat, wait for at least 5 - 10 minutes until motor and speed controller have cooled down
sufficiently before the next run. Only then start a new drive with two full drive batteries.
