You can order suitable alkaline batteries stating the following order no.:
Item no. 65 25 06 (please order six).
Only use alkaline batteries, as they are powerful and have a long service life.

Carrying out a Battery Test

The current battery charge is shown in the top right of the display in all measuring ranges. Below a volt-
age of <7.5 the battery replacement symbol automatically appears and flashes. Replace the batteries as
soon as possible to prevent incorrect measurements.

Disposal

Old electronic devices are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste. When the device has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance with the
current statutory regulations at the communal collection points. It is forbidden to dispose of
it in the household waste.

Disposal of used batteries!

You as the end user are legally obliged (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries. Disposal in the
household waste is prohibited!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the follo-
wing symbols, they point out that they are not allowed to be disposed of in the domestic
refuse. The symbols for dangerous heavy metal constituents are: Cd = cadmium, Hg =
mercury, Pb = lead. You can return your exhausted batteries/rechargeable batteries free of
charge to any authorized disposal station in your local authority, to our stores or to any
other store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to the protection of
the environment!
