8. Operation

a) Inserting the batteries
• Unscrew the screw from the battery compartment cover (11) with the help of the small folding
handle; you can do this by hand or with the aid of a suitable screwdriver (cross head), turning
anti-clockwise. Remove the battery compartment cover (11).
• Insert two AA batteries (two batteries are included for setup) with correct polarity into the
battery compartment (observe plus/+ and minus/-). The polarity is indicated in the battery
compartment.
• Then, close the battery compartment again with the battery compartment cover and screw
the screw in a clockwise direction.
b) Low battery indicator
• The battery level of the measuring device is indicated by the battery level indicator. If the
