Live components may be exposed when covers are
opened or components are removed.
Before cleaning or servicing, the device has to be dis-
connected from all voltage sources.
Capacitors in the device may still be charged, even if it
has been disconnected from all voltage sources.
Never replace any damaged connecting cables of
power supply units yourself. In such a case disconnect
the units from the mains voltage and take them to a
specialist workshop.
Repair work always has to be carried out by qualified
experts familiar with the hazards involved and with the
relevant regulations.
Disposal
Once the product becomes unusable, dispose of it in accordance
with the relevant statutory regulations.

Troubleshooting

By purchasing the high-resolution camera with IR lamp you have
acquired a product that has been designed to the state of the art
and is operationally reliable.
However, problems and malfunctions may occur.
For this reason we want to describe how to troubleshoot potential
malfunctions:
Do not fail to observe the safety instructions!

Intended Use

The high-resolution colour camera with IR lamp is used to monitor
and secure badly visible or critical areas (such as for shop monito-
ring, in gate telephones, in entrance areas or on car parks et cetera)
and to replay the images taken on every suitable TV set or monitor
with an AV input.
The camera may be used in indoor as well as outdoor surroundings.
However, the camera may not be submerged in water.
Please keep in mind that you will render yourself liable to prosecuti-
on, if you keep persons under observation without their knowledge
and approval with this camera.
This product has been approved for connection to 12 Volt direct
voltage only.
Uses other than those described above are not permitted. They will
lead to damage to the product and may cause additional risks,
such as short circuit, fire, electric shock et cetera.
The entire product may not be changed or modified in any way.
The safety instructions have to be observed without fail !

Safety instructions

Damage due to non-compliance with these opera-
ting instructions leads to expiry of the warranty. We
do not accept liability for consequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or
personal injury caused by improper handling or non-
compliance with the safety instructions. Under these
circumstances, any warranty expires.
