OPERATING THE MAGIC SPEED CRUISE CONTROL
ACCELERATING AND DECELERATING:
When the cruise control is activated, you can also make the fine
adjustments. If you press the „SET" button once, the speed increases by
approx. 1 kph. If you press the „RES" button once, the speed decreases
by approx. 1 kph. This function allows you to adjust the speed of your
vehicle to the traffic flow or to a speed limit. The cruise control has a
memory which stores the number of times the buttons are pressed. For
example: If you press the „SET" button three times or the „RES" button five
times, the cruise control will speed up or slow down the vehicle by
approx. 3 kph and 5 kph respectively.
NOTE: If you want to reduce the speed of your vehicle by a
large amount, do not use the „RES" button. Use the
„OFF" switch, the brake or the clutch instead, and
then set the new speed with the „SET" button.

13.0 PUTTING INTO OPERATION AND FUNCTION TEST

The electronic module is equipped with a diagnosis program, so all the
functions and the electrical connections should be tested before the first
test drive (see chapter 16. Test A and Test B).
The display is effected by an LED on the electronic module. It is best to
carry out the practical test (test drive) on a road with little traffic.
The cruise control cannot be tested properly when the vehicle is jacked
up or on a test stand because the mass inertia factor is lacking.

„ON/OFF"-BRYTARE:
Genom att lätt beröra ON/OFF- brytaren en gång kopplas MAGIC-SPEED
på. LED-lampan lyser till.
Är MAGIC SPEED påkopplad, stängs den av genom en enda lätt beröring
på ON/OFF-brytaren. LED-lampan slocknar.
„SET"-KNAPP:
1. Ställer den för stunden körda hastigheten, när „SET"-knappen trycks
ned och genast släpps upp igen. Denna önskade hastighet
upprätthålls tills:
a) broms- eller kopplingspedalen trycks ned,
b) apparaten kopplas ifrån via „ON/OFF"- brytare
(LED slocknar).
c ) fordonets hastighet ligger under 40 - 50 km/h,
d) hastigheten sjunker med mer än 25% vid uppförskörning.
2. Om „SET"-knappen trycks ned permanent, accelererar fordonet.
Släpps knappen upp, håller hastighetsregulatorn den hittills uppnådda
hastigheten och sparar den.
„RES"-KNAPP:
Övertagning av sist sparad hastighet, när „RES"-knappen trycks ned och
genast släpps upp igen, förutsatt att:
a) apparaten kopplas på via „ON/OFF"- brytare
(LED:n på manöverdelen lyser),
b) fordonets hastighet inte ligger under minimi-hastigheten på
40-50 km/h,
c ) Broms- eller kopplingspedalen inte är nedtryckt,
d) tändningen inte slogs av under tiden ,
e) hastigheten för stunden inte är lägre än 50% av det sparade
värdet.
