Tilting the Saw Unit (Fig. 3)
The saw unit can be tilted up to an angle of 45º.
Loosen the hand grip (24) on the back of the machine
and, using the scale, tilt the unit to the desired angular
pos ition. The angle can be determined using the indica-
tor (25) on the scale (23). Finally, the hand grip must be
securely re-tightened.
After having performed all the above procedures and
opera tions, you may begin cutting.
ATTENTION: Always keep hands away from the cutting
area and do not try to approach it when the machine is
running.
Cross-cutting Operation (Fig. 4)
• Release the locking button (13)
• Raise the saw unit using the hand grip (1) until the
unit locks into the uppermost position.
• Press the work piece uniformly against the block bars
(30), while assuring that your hand is outside the cut-
ting zone of the saw blade.
• With the right hand on the hand grip (1), press the
ratchet lever (9), so that the unit can be swiveled
downward.
• After pressing of the start button (2) the engine starts
running.
• Apply the saw blade slowly to the work piece and cut
through it by applying slight pressure.
• Swing the unit back into the starting position until it
locks into place.
• Release the hand grip (1), so that the motor shuts
off.
Changing the saw blade (Fig. 5)
• Pull the power plug.
• Put the sawing unit in the upper position.
• Release the movable saw blade guard (11) by press-
ing the lock (9) and lifting the saw blade guard at the
same time to free the saw blade.
• Release the saw blade fixing screw (Attention: left-
handed thread).
• Remove bolt (3) and saw blade flange (4).
• Take off the saw blade with caution (risk of injury
through saw blade teeth).
• Place the new saw blade onto the inner saw blade
flange, observing the turning direction of the saw
blade.
• Put the outer saw blade flange in place and firmly
tighten the screw.
• Return the saw blade guard to the correct position.

Incliner le groupe de sciage (image 3)
Le groupe de sciage peut être incliné jusqu'à un angle
de 45°.
Desserrez la poignée (24) au dos de la machine et incli-
nez le groupe, en fonction de la gamme, dans la position
souhaitée. L'angle peut être fixé à l'aide de la gamme
(23) au moyen de l'aiguille (25). Serrez à nouveau fer-
mement la poignée.
Méthode de travail
Lorsque toutes les procédures et les opérations reprises dans
ce Manuel ont été réalisées, le travail peut commencer.
ATTENTION: Garder toujours les mains loin de la zone de
coupe et n'essayez surtout pas d'atteindre cette zone du-
rant les opérations.
Coupe transversale (image 4)
• Relâcher le bouton de blocage (13).
• Montez le groupe de sciage par la poignée (1) jusqu'à
son encliquetage en position supérieure
• Poussez la pièce à usiner de façon équilibrée contre
les rails de butée (30), veillez à garder la main en-de-
hors de la portée de la lame de scie.
• Appuyez sur la manette de verrouillage (9) en tenant
la poignée (1) avec la main droite, de sorte à pouvoir
pivoter le groupe vers le bas.
• Pressant le button start (2) laisse tourner la machi-
ne.
• Approchez lentement la lame de la pièce à usiner et
découpez-la en exerçant une pression modérée.
• Pivotez à nouveau le groupe dans la position de départ
supérieure jusqu'à ce qu'il se bloque.
• Lâchez la poignée (1) pour que le moteur s'éteigne.
Changer la lame de scie (Fig. 5)
• Débrancher la prise d'alimentation.
• Mettre l'agrégat à la position supérieure.
• Ouvrir le protecteur de la lame de scie flexible (11) en
appuyant le dispositif de blocage (9). En faisant cela,
relever le protecteur pour libérer la lame.
• Relâcher la vis de blocage de la lame (Attention: filet
à gauche).
• Enlever le boulon (3) et la flasque (4) de la lame.
• Eloigner la lame avec caution (risque de blessures par
les dents de la lame).
• Mettre la nouvelle lame sur la flasque intérieure, en
faisant attention à la direction de révolution.
• Mettre la flasque extérieure sur place et la serrer fer-
mement.
• Remettre le protecteur de la lame de scie à sa place
correcte.
