Mixing Fuel

Always mix petrol and 2-cycle engine oil only in a container specifically designated for this purpose.

Mix the whole amount of oil with a half amount of petrol.

Then add the rest of the petrol and mix everything correctly.

Shake the mixture correctly before pouring it into the fuel tank.
Fuel Storage
Fuel can be stored for a limited time period only. Fuel and mixtures get old. Old fuel mixture can cause problems during starting of the
chainsaw. Mix only as much of the mixture as you need for the following 4 week period.
Saw chain oil
To enable sufficient oil lubrication of the saw chain, there must be a sufficient amount of oil in the tank.
Whenever filling the fuel mixture to the tank, also replenish the oil for saw chains.
To oil the chain saw and guide bar, use only ecological, biologically degradable oil for saw chains, then eventually oil for saw chains
on the basis of mineral oils (ISO VG 100).
Oils for saw chains stick when not used for a long time. This can cause damage to the oil pump or parts using the oil.
How to avoid it:
•
Empty the oil for saw chains out of the oil tank of the chain saw.
•
Replenish the tank with a little engine oil.
•
Allow the chain saw to run for some time to enable the oil to flow and to clean the oil pump.
Before further use of the chain saw, again replenish the tank with oil for saw chains.
4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Engine start
Before starting the saw be sure to loosen the chain brake. The safety cover should be pulled to the front handle.
Choke button positions:
A = RUN
B = HALF – warm start
C = CHOKE – cold start

•
Set STOP switch(6) to "I"
•
Move the CHOKE lever(16) to cold start "CHOKE"
•
Press the latch(7) and hold it pressed
•
Press the Throttle trigger(9) and hold it pressed
•
Press the Safety trigger(8) from the side
•
Release the Throttle trigger(9) and then the latch(7). The Throttle trigger and latch are now blocked.
•
Assume a safe and firm position and put the chainsaw onto the ground so that the guide bar is not limited by anything.
•
Put your tip of your toe onto the rear handle
•
Pull the Starter pull rope(4) rapidly. Beware of moving chain.
•
Move the CHOKE lever to " HALF"
•
Pull the starter pull rope quickly until the engine starts.
•
Warm the engine up for 10 seconds. Then press and release the Throttle trigger to "IDLE"

Não deve ligar o motor se o combustível transbordar. É necessário limpar o aparelho. Só deve ligar o aparelho depois de se dis-
siparem por completo os vapores da gasolina.
•
Antes de iniciar o motor, coloque a motosserra a uma distância de, pelo menos, 3 m do local de abastecimento.
O tubo de escape, assim como as peças mais próximas dele, podem estar muito quentes; há perigo de queimadura.
Nunca ligue o motor de combustão num local fechado, pois que há risco de intoxicação!
Por razões de segurança, substitua sempre o depósito e a tampa se estiverem danificados.
Óleo para correntes
Para lubrificar a corrente e a barra-guia, use apenas óleo ecológico biodegradável para correntes e, eventualmente, óleo para as
correntes composto por óleos minerais (ISO VG 100).
Nunca use óleo que já tenha sido utilizado! O óleo já utilizado não permite uma lubrificação suficiente da corrente e, além
disso, é prejudicial para o ambiente.
Perigo de recuo
Quando utilizar a motosserra, pode ocorrer um recuo. O efeito de recuo pode ser causado quando a extremidade superior da barra-
guia toca na madeira ou noutro objecto sólido. Nessas condições, perde-se o controlo da motosserra e ocorre um recuo a alta veloci-
dade na direcção do utilizador. Isto pode causar lesões graves.
Perigo de recuo. O recuo pode causar lesões fatais.
Para evitar o recuo, siga as instruções indicadas abaixo:
•
Segure a motosserra firmemente com ambas as mãos
•
Inicie o corte com o aparelho já em funcionamento e efectue a operação quando apenas se encontra no desempenho máximo.
•
Nunca corte com a parte superior da barra-guia.
•
Esteja sempre atento à extremidade da barra-guia.
•
Nunca use a motosserra com os braços esticados.
•
Nunca corte em cima de uma escada ou acima dos ombros.
•
Tenha cuidado ao continuar um corte já iniciado.
•
Nunca se incline demasiado quando estiver a cortar.
•
Nunca corte mais de um ramo de cada vez.
•
Utilize sempre a corrente devidamente afiada e apertada.
•
Só deve retirar a motosserra do corte com a corrente em funcionamento.
3. INSTRUÇÕES DE MONTAGEM
A embalagem é fabricada a partir de material reciclável. Elimine a embalagem em conformidade com a regulamentação.
Montagem da barra-guia

•
Com uma chave de parafusos rodar o parafuso de regulação (A) na tampa PARA A ESQUERDA até o pino (dente saliente) atin-
gir o fim do percurso até ao tambor da embraiagem e carreto.
•
Liberte o travão da corrente. Puxe a alavanca do travão da corrente (1) no sentido da pega frontal.
•
Desaperte as porcas (2) e os parafusos (3) de fixação da barra na protecção do silenciador e depois retire a tampa.
•
Colocar a extremidade com ranhura da barra guia sobre os 2 parafusos da barra (1). Posicionar a barra de modo a que o pino
de regulação na tampa encaixar no orifício inferior (2) na barra guia (2).
Montagem da corrente

Antes de iniciar qualquer trabalho na barra-guia e na corrente:
• Pare o motor,
• Desligue o conector da vela de ignição,
• Coloque as luvas de protecção.
• Verifique a direcção de movimento da corrente.
• As extremidades de corte dos dentes da serra na parte superior da barra-guia estão inclinadas para frente na ponta da
guia (a extremidade da barra).
•
Coloque a corrente à volta da corrente (1) (atrás da embraiagem) (3) e na ranhura da barra-guia.
