CONNECTING THE TRIMMER UNIT TO THE POLE

WARNING:
• εake sure that the engine is turned off, and remove the spark plug cap before
assembling the pole hedge trimmerέ
• Wear protective gloves!
• Secure cutting blades with the blade cover provided when connecting the trimmer
unit to the pole.
1. Remove the cap from the shaft.
βέ δoosen the εη x 1β screw and εη x βη boltέ
γέ Insert shaft into gear caseέ
στTEμ εake sure that the shaft is completely inserted into the gear case
(approxέ 44 mmή1έιγ")έ
If you are having trouble inserting the shaft, manually rotate the drive axle a
little and try againέ
4έ εake sure that the shaft is properly inserted and then tighten the εη x 1β screw
and the εη x βη boltέ
