21. USB INTERFACE

Use the USB cable provided to connect the DMM with the PC (with "Voltsoft" installed) to download
the recorded data to the PC.
1. Insert the USB type B plug of the USB cable into the USB type B socket (24) at the back of the
DMM.
2. Insert the USB type A plug on the other side of the cable into a vacant USB port on the PC.
3. To activate the USB interface, press and hold the REL / PC button (4) for two seconds, beep sound
and a PC connection symbol will show on the display.
4. Refer to the operating instructions of Voltsoft for further information.
The LOAD / SETUP button (13) is disabled for threshold and determination set up in the PC
connection mode. To set the threshold and determination, use the "Voltsoft" software. Refer to
the Voltsoft operating instructions.
The user-friendly analysis software Voltsoft is included, and the most up-to-date version can
also be downloaded free of charge at www.conrad.de or www.conrad.biz.

22. DISPLAY ILLUMINATION

The display can be lighted in low light. Lighting turns of automatically after approx. 10s.
For switching it on, press the "LIGHT" button (8) for approx. 2 s. For switching off the lighting early,
keep the "LIGHT" button pressed again for approx. 2 s or switch off the DMM.
If the DMM is powered by alternating current, the light cannot be turned off.

23. STAND

The angle of the DMM is adjustable by the stand. Pull the joint of the stand to unlock and then adjust
the angle of the stand.
