9. Basic Functions in the Setup Menu

a) General Information
The surveillance camera also has a comprehensive setup menu. The control lever used for
operation is located in the surveillance camera's connection cable.
Different settings can be made in the setup menu.
To call the setup menu, activate a submenu or confirm a setting, briefly push the control lever
(like a conventional button).
The control lever can be moved in four directions to set a function or change a setting (see label
next to the button):
"L" Briefly move the control lever to the left
"R" Briefly move the control lever to the right
"UP" Briefly move the control lever up
"DOWN" Briefly move the control lever down

b) Call/Leave the Setup Menu, Save Settings

Briefly push the control lever to call the setup
menu. The setup menu is displayed in the screen
image; see figure on the right.
To save all settings, select "SAVE" and then briefly
push the control lever.
To leave the setup menu, select "EXIT" and then
briefly push the control lever. The setup menu dis-
play will then disappear from the screen.
After leaving the setup menu without saving the settings with "SAVE", they will be lost
if the power supply is disconnected or a power outage occurs!
Therefore, do not forget to select "SAVE" first before leaving the setup menu and
confirm by briefly pushing the control lever. Then all settings made are retained when
the power fails. Then you can leave the setup menu via "EXIT".
