Fit and cement wheel-house roof 43 and flying bridge 44 together and then fit and cement this assembly onto
wheel house and awning deck. Cut out the remaining floor covers and stick them in position at flying bridge and
cabin roof. Eventually cement side walls 45 under the edges of the awning deck.
Accessories
There are three types of accessories :
1.
Parts to be assembled, sanded and painted,
2.
Single parts to be prepared and painted,
3.
Ready-to-use parts.
Parts 1: Cement twelve split pins 47 into stanchions 46.
Shorten the shaft of Tour split pins 49 to 8 mm and ce-
ment them into connecting sleeves 48.
Cut two 4 x 140 mm strips from ABS scrap and bend
them to fender racks 50. Cement six fenders from fender
halves 51.
Cement windlass casing 53 onto base plate 52 and mount
head 55 and sprocket wheel 56 with shaft 54. Angle 13
mm of control lever 57 by 90 degrees and cement it into
the 2 mm hole of the casing. Eventually cement handle
58 over upper end of lever.
Cement spacers 60 onto side wall brackets 59 as shown
in Fig. 7.
Remove pin from flag 61 and attach flag to flagstaff 62
with nylon thread. Then cement flagstaff into hole of hol-
der 64.
Bend hand rails 64 as shown in top and rear view and
paint hand rails and spacers 66 light grey and steps 65
brown.
Let all parts dry thoroughly and then assemble them to
bathing platform stairs and cement with CA-cement.
Assemble life raft from life raft halves 67 with ABS-ce-
ment.
Cut sixteen 3x120 mm strips from ABS scrap and make
two ring-buoy racks 68 with hooks for the main deck and
three ring-buoy racks 68 without hooks and three sepa-
rate hooks for the awning deck as shown in Fig. 7. Then
assemble live ring buoys from ring-buoy halves 69 and
eyebolts 70.
Open up the bores of buoys 72 with a 3 mm twist drill and
assemble them with the 3x25 mm dowels to lamps 71.
Paint saloon door 73 brown, let dry and add window Fra-
me and window pane.
Assemble fire extinguishers from halves 74 and eyebolts 75. Cut off 60 mm from each of the pushrods 146 and
bend the pieces to extinguisher tubes 76 as shown in Fig. B.
