Nordstrand Building Instructions
The „Nordstrand" is a modern trawler yacht, which comes originally from a Dutch shipyard. With its
wide hull she has a nice driving display on the water, which always creates a good impression and
still it is not slow and very agile. The model has a scale of 1:16 as the model for its good handling and
maneuverability.
The components of the „Nordstrand" are mostly made from top quality moulded ABS plastic, which
makes the assembly easy and pleasantly. High exactness lets this model also become a success for
the beginner. Nevertheless there is a lot of space in the big hull for your own possibilities and ideas to
create your own model with a lot of additional functions.
At the „Nordstrand" you have different posibilities of motorization. As a basic solution at 6 Volt you
can reach good driving speeds with the MAX Power 600. With a Max Gear 2,5:1 Motor at 12 Volt
the „Nordstrand" wins in property and accessible driving speed. And in connection with an electronic
speedcontroller all driving manoeuvres can be carried out with the „Nordstrand" the original also is
able to.
The Model kit contains all vacuum formed ABS parts, laser cut ABS and plywood parts as well as all
fitting parts for many details, like window frame, fender and the life wests.
A detailed building plan 1:1 and an exact construction manual with many tips for beginners are inclu-
ded.
