Clean fuel tank.
Remove the appliance hood, the handle
bow and the lid of the switch box.
Remove the tank.
Dispose off fuel residues according to
environment safety laws.
Rinse the tank thoroughly and let it dry.
Change fuel filter.
Check pump for leaks
3 drops per minute are permitted and can
come out from the lower side of the appli-
ance.
With stronger leak, have device
checked by customer service.
Oil change
ATTENTION
Risk of damage! In case of lacteous oil in-
form Kärcher customer service immediate-
ly.
Ready a catch bin for appr 1 Litre oil.
Loosen release screw.
Dispose of old oil ecologically or turn in at
a gathering point.
Tighten release screw.
Fill oil slowly up to the MAX marking on
the oil tank.
Note: Air pockets must be able to leak out.
For oil type refer to technical specifica-
tions.
Clean sieve in front of the water
shortage safe guard
Unscrew the hose from the pump head
to the safety block.
Screw the bolt M8 into the bore of the
sieve and pull the sieve out.
Clean sieve.
Troubleshooting

Indicator lamp "Fault" glows
Open the covering flap of the storage
compartment.
Read the electronic fault display.
